Tinalo nina Joshua Alcarde at Jeremy Pedregosa ng Far Eastern University sina Mike Alinsunurin at Sherwin Meneses ng Adamson, 21-19, 16-21, 15-11, kasunod ang 21-19, 21-16 panalo nina Michael Manuel at Harold Pavia ng St. Francis sa kanilang ‘do-or-die’ game para sa ikatlong tiket patungo sa main draw sa Boracay sa Abril.

Bukod sa Tamaraws at Doves, magiging kinatawan rin ng Luzon sa main draw sina Eric John Genil at Alvin Medina ng PCU Dolphins.

Kasama rin nina Alcarde at Pedregosa sa main draw sina Lady Tams Wendy Anne Semana at Lorelin Astorga, nanaig kina Hannah Suarez at Risa Jane Laguilles ng Adamson Lady Falcons, 22-20, 23-25, 15-13, sa semis sa women’s class.

Maliban kina Semana at Astorga, magtutungo rin sa Boracay sina Suarez at Laguilles, nanalo kina Cathlea Villaluz at Arlene Bernardo ng PCU Lady Dolphins, 21-9, 21-5, sa kanilang playoff match para sa ikatlong silya, at sina Sherilyn Carillo at Jane Kathleen Jarin ng Lyceum Lady Maroons.

Bunga ng kanilang 1-3 baraha, nasibak ang nagdedepensang St. Benilde Lady Blazers na kinatawan nina Wena Miran at Girly Quemada. (Russell Cadayona)
