Tee, Coo bumandera

Binanderahan nina Southeast Asian Games gold medalist Markwin Tee at dating World Bowler of the Year na si Bong Coo ang second set ng katatapos pa lamang na qualifiers para sa national finals ng 2006 Bowling World Cup.

Nagpagulong si Tee ng 12-game series na 2,666 pinfalls sa SM Megamall, habang nagrolyo naman si Coo, na ngayon ay Philippine Bowling Congress management committee chairman, ng 1,735 sa 10 games sa Coronado (Starlanes) upang makubra ang tsansa na katawanin ang bansa sa World Cup International finals na nakatakda sa Caracas, Venezuela sa Nov. 4-10.

Umusad din ang nagbabalik na si RJ Bautista, na nanalo sa men’s double’s gold medal kasama ang four-time World Cup champion na si Paeng Nepomuceno sa 2000 Asian Games sa Busan, South Korea sa national finals ng umasinta ng 2,468 sa 12 games.

Makakasama nina Tee, Coo at iba pang nanalo ang mga first center finalists sa national finals na nakatakda sa Sept. 22 at 24 sa Coronado lanes, Sept. 26 sa Paeng’s Midtown Bowl at sa Sept. 28 sa SM Megamal.

Ang quarterfinals, semifinal at championship round competition ay best-of-three head-to-head matches.
