Iba pang PBA draftees may ibubuga din

-
Hindi man posibleng top picks tulad nina Arwind Santos, Kelly Williams o LA Tenorio, may malaking potensiyal sina dating San Beda guard Ronnie Bughao, one-time University of the Philippines stalwart Abby Santos, Jonathan Aldave, Saint Francis’ Chris Pacana at Manuel Caceres ng PSBA base sa obserbasyon ng mga coaches sa isang linggong Rookie Camp na ginanap sa PhilSports Arena noong nakaraang linggo.

"Magaling. He’ll be a good choice for any team in need to shore up its backcourt," sabi ni Air21 mentor Bo Perasol ukol kay Bughao, na naglaro rin sa Teletech sa Philippine Basketball League (PBL), matapos itong kapusin ng assist at rebound para sa triple-double performance para sa Red team.

"He’s the type of guy that we need," sabi naman ni Ginebra coach Jong Uichico.

"Larry Fonacier was selected 14th overall a year ago, but he went on to win Rookie of the Year honor," sabi ng isang scout.

(Mae Balbuena)
