UC Webmasters wa'a kapanulong

Ang 10-man University of Cebu (UC) Webmasters wala mahikuyog sa pagpanulong sa Philippine Team nga milarga paingon sa Orlando, Florida alang sa 2006 World Eskrima Kali Arnis Federation (WEKAF) Championships.

Kini human si Webmasters coach Maximo Caballes gipahibalo sa WEKAF local officials duha adlaw sa ila untang gitakda nga paglarga nga dili sila makahatag og airfare alang sa mga atleta.

Sa sayo pa, si UC president Atty. Augusto Go migahin og P200,000 alang sa delegado sa UC. Apan dili kini igo ikapalit og mga tiket alang sa walo ka atleta.

"We don't have the time to look for budget for the airfare. Well, kung ako lang, I already have my ticket because my airfare will not be shouldered by WEKAF, but to be fair for everyone, we decided to forego the event than send one or two athletes," matud pa ni Bernard Ricablanca.

Gikasubo kaayo ni Ricablanca ang maong hitabo ug sa nadangatan sa iyang mga atleta nga miagi og grabeng ensayo ug ingon sa ilang paningkamot aron malakip sa RP squad.

"I really don't know if this is just a matter of miscommunication between WEKAF officials and our coach (Maximo Caballes) because as far as UC is concerned, allowance ra gyud sa mga bata ang amo ma provide. It's always like that even in the other international events," matud ni Ricablanca.
