National Unified Sports Program

Lalahok ang national athletes, kabilang ang Athletes’ Commission at kinatawan mula sa UAAP, NCAA, SCUAA, PRISAA, WNCAA at NCRAA sa paglulunsad ng National Unified Sports Program at sa operationalization ng Philippine Sports Institute sa Marso 29-30 sa Multi-Purpose Arena, PhilSports sa Pasig City.

Magsasama-sama ang 475 partisipante mula sa provincial at urbanized city governments, sports organization and universities nationwide kabilang ang sports media sa pangunguna ng PSC, Philippines Olympic Committee, DOH, DILG, DepEd, CHED, Department of National Defense-Armed Forces of the Philippines at ng National Youth Commission para sa pag-endorso ng 1st PSC Call for Action and Partnership.’

Kabilang sa mga resource speakers sa dalawang plenary session ang mga sports gurus na sina Prof. Mark Molina ng Far Eastern University athletic director, Dr. Jose Raul Canlas, Ms. Josephine Reyes, Ms. Janine Dizon ng Philippine Center for Sports Medicine, international fitness professional at columnist Tina Juan at ang Philippine Amateur Swimming Association secretary-general na si Akiko Thomson. Makakasama nila sina Jimmy Cantor, editor ng Malaya at pangulo ng Philippine Sportswriters Association at Gus Villanueva, PSA adviser at editor-in-chief ng Journal Group.

Kabilang din sa mga tagapasalita sina PSC Chairman Butch Ramirez at Commissioners Jose Mundo, Leon Montemayor, Ambrosio de Luna at Ricardo Garcia, habang sina Thomson at Ric Yap-Santos ang masters of ceremonies sa nabanggit na paglulunsad.
