Pinoy wushu artists tagumpay sa kampanya

-

"It was a very, very good showing by our athletes," sabi kahapon ni WFP president Julian Camacho. "I cannot ask for more from them sa ipinakita nilang performance in this 2005 Philippine SEA Games."

"Talagang maganda ang naging training nila this time. Iyong ibang athletes natin, kagaya ni Pedro Quina, nagpunta sa China for a four-month training. I think that was a big contribution in our success," ani Camacho.

Ang iba pang gold medalist ay sina Arvin Ting (men’s daoshu), Rene Catalan (men’s sanshou 48kg.), Pedro Quina (men’s nanquan), Edward Folayang (men’s sanshou 79kg.) at Rhea May Rifani (women’s sanshou 52kg.)

Tanging silver lamang ang nakayanan nina Kenneth Lim (men’s taijijian at taijiquan), Rexel Ngan-hayna (men’s sanshou 56kg.), Janice Hung (women’s taijiquan) at Jennifer Laglilag (women’s sanshou 45kg.)

Naka-bronze naman sina Ting sa men’s changquan, Kenneth Lim sa men’s taijiquan at Mark Eddiva sa men’s sanshou 60kg. (Sarie Francisco)
