SEAG security plans ipipinalisa ngayon

Muling magpupulong ang mga top law enforcers at intelligence service ngayon upang ma-finalize ang security plans para sa mga foreign at local participants ng 23rd Southeast Asian Games na nakatakda sa Nov. 27-Dec. 5 sa Manila at apat pang satellite venues.

Pangungunahan ni Police Director Rodolfo Tor, chairman ng Security Committee ng Philippine Southeast Asian Games Organizing Committee (PHILSOC) ang meeting sa Inter-Agency Security Conference sa PHILSOC headquarters sa PICC.

Tatalakayin ni Tor sa mga opisyal ng PHILSOC sa pangunguna ni president at chief executive officer Jose ‘Peping’ Cojuangco ang mga strategic plan, security arraignments at ang kanilang gagawing aksiyon sa mga di inaasahang insidente sa biennial meet na nakakalat sa 30 venues sa Manila, Tagaytay, Antipolo, Laguna, Cebu City, Bacolod City at Subic.

"This is just part of the series of coordinating meeting with agencies involved. We already set the plan and program. Now it’s up to our sports officials to react with our proposals. Kung ano ang kailangan baguhin para sa mas epektibong security arrangement ‘yun ang gagawin natin," ani Police Superintendent Celso Beltran.
