Sino ang unang PBA import na uuwi?

Napanood na ninyong lahat ang mga imports sa kasalukuyang PBA Fiesta Conference. Sino kaya ang unang pababalikin sa Amerika at sino naman ang tatanghaling best import?

Dalawang sports event ang pinaghahandaan ngayon ng actor-sportman na si Richard Gomez. Una sa fencing kung saan sasabak siya sa peep event ng fencing at ikalawa naman ay sa clay shooting. Sa katunayan si Gomez ang presidente ng Sporting Clays Association of the Philippines at nagpatayo pa ito ng sariling shooting range sa Taytay para dito.

Hindi lamang sa fencing at shooting nakilala si Gomez kundi nagdaan din ito sa basketball, rowing, motorsports, golf at badminton.

Sus, grabe naman ka-athletic ni Richard.

Nais ko lang bigyan ng espasyo ang dalawang reader natin na nag-email para ipabatid ang kanilang mga obserbasyon at kahilingan.

hi! i am a loyal fan of basketball..especially college basketball, particularly the UAAP. It is the only league that i watch from start to finish, unlike other leagues wherein i just wait for the highlights of the game. But because of the recent awarding ceremony last thursday, i really doubted the criteria for judging a winner, i mean, i love UAAP, but it’s losing it’s credibility because of some biased awards given to unworthy players. First of all, let me cite an example. We all know that Rich Alvarez is really a great player, and he really deserved his first MVP award in the UAAP, but the year after that, the UAAP still gave him another MVP award, and everyone knows that Ren-Ren Ritualo is the shoo-in for that award. You can research all the stats you want, but Ritualo really is the winner in terms of stat, he averaged almost 22 points per game at that time, and even the year before it, but still he had to win a championship first in order to have an MVP award, and that is unfair. Don’t get me wrong, I am a Lasallian but i don’t have biases. I was even glad that Enrico Villanueva was also named MVP, cause he really deserved it, and also i was pleased that LA Tenorio is in the mythical selection, cause it is obvious that he is the best point guard in the league. My side is this, UAAP should give the award to the rightful person, and thats the bottomline. People watching the league, whether they know anything about basketball or not, are not stupid, so don’t treat us as if we don’t know nothing. Then let’s go back to the present awardings, and we all know that Arwind Santos is the only MVP in the league, but did the UAAP had another biased decision in awarding the rookie of the year award? my answer is yes! why? because Jai Reyes (Ateneo)has no stats at all! Just look at the stats of Bon bon Custodio (UE) and Jonas Villanueva (FEU), and you will see that either of them is deserving of the ROY award. Im challenging the uaap to justify why they named a bench player with no stats the rookie of the year, and if they prove that im wrong, then i will shut my mouth.The UAAP should be unbiased, because they may lose their credibility, just like in the awardings in the movie industry, where PR decides who the winner is. I’m warning the UAAP to straighten this out, because people are watching, and we are not that stupid as you might think. I hope you publish this letter to show the side of the people watching the league, and i know that you know that im right, cause you have the stats, and you know the truth. Thanks!

good morning po ako po ay taga subaybay ng mga artikulo nyo tungkol sa sports ngunit ako po ay nag-aabang din sa TV lalo na po pag volleyball dahil tagahanga po ako ni Pimentel ng UST pero ang inaabangan ko po na pagtatapat ng Thais at mga kalahok sa 3 day invitational ay hindi ko po napanood dahil wala po kaming cable. ang sa akin lamang po ay sana ipalabas nila ito sa TV para kahit walang cable ay mapanood po namin ito at sana po ay mapaabot ninyo ito dahil alam ko po na matutulungan nyo kami.
