PHILSOC committees magrereport sa Chef de Missions meeting

Pag-rereport muna ng lahat ng committee chair-men ng Philippine South-east Asian Games Orga-nizing Committee (PHIL-SOC) ang uunahin sa pagsisimula ng meeting ng Chef de Missions ng 11-member countries ng Southeast Asian Games sa alas-8:00 ng umaga sa plenary session ng Ca-sino Filipino sa Parañaque.

Nasiyahan si Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) chairman William ‘Butch’ Ramirez, na kakatawan ng bansa bilang deputy Chef de Mission sa pagkawala ni sports Godfather First Gentleman Mike Arroyo, sa committee reports sa isinagawang dry run presentation kahapon na magpapakita ng kahandaan ng bansa sa pagho-host ng Nov. 27 hanggang Dec. 5 meet.

"Very impressive. The report will give the visiting sports officials the idea of what the organizers have done so far to assure a smooth, hassle-free and successful staging of the Games," ani Ramirez.

Si PHILSOC secretary general Steve Hontiveros ang nanguna sa mga local sports officials na sumalubong sa mga foreign delegates na dumating kahapon na ititira sa Hyatt Hotel at Diamond Hotel.

Inaasahang dumating anumang araw si PHILSOC chief executive officer Jose ‘Peping’ Cojuangco mula sa Geneva upang makasalamuha ang mga foreign officials.
