Ipinormalisa nina Fed-Ex-Air21 president at chief operating officer Angelito Alvarez, at ni Philippine SEA Games Organizing Committee (PHILSOC) chief executive officer Jose Peping Cojuangco ang partnership sa pagpirma ng Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) sa PICC building kahapon.
"This is our own little way of helping boost the morale and spirit of our national athletes. We dont think they can be at par against world-class rivals if all their equipments and other training needs fail to come on time," ani Alvarez.
"We really appreciate FedExs response to our call," ani Cojuangco. "This will help us in our effort to raise more funds to augment the organizers operational and management expenses."
"Some of the NSAs have its own suppliers. But after explaining to them the real score, they quickly understood and submitted their requirements," ani Mendoza. "Simple lang naman ang sitwasyon, tax-free ang lahat ng bibilhin natin sa abroad, so why talked to the suppliers kung puwede naman tayong dumiretso sa pagbibilhan."
