7-man RP boxing team pa-Vietnam

Babanderahan ni Harry Tanamor ang mala-kas na 7-man Philippine Boxing Team sa paglahok nito sa 23rd Senior Asian Boxing Championships na nakatakdang magsi-mula ngayon sa Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Sasabak din sa isang linggong aksiyon na tina-tampukan ng mga pangu-nahing amateur boxer sa bansa sina flyweight Warlito Parrenas, ban-tamweight Joan Tipon, featherweight Joegin Ladon, lightweight Gene-bert Basadre, lightwelter-weight Mark Jason Melligen at middleweight Maximo Tabangcora.

"The Asian Champion-ships is part of our buildup and elimination process to the South East Asian Games in November," paliwanag ni Manny T. Lopez, president ng Amateur Boxing Asso-ciation of the Philippines at Head of Delegation.
Kasama din sa biyahe na suportado ng First Gentleman Foundation, Ginebra San Miguel, Philippine Sports Com-mission Pacific Heights at Accel sina head Coach Patricio Gaspi, Barcelona Olympian Ronald Chavez bilang assistant coach at Mario de Guia bilang AIBA referee /judge.
