"We will save for them and we will find a way to send them to China for their training," sabi ni PSC chairman William ‘Butch’ Ramirez sa pipiliing halos 100 atleta para pagsa-nayin sa China sa Setyembre.

"All of these athletes have had excellent training in both Guangzhou and Guangxi," sabi ni National Training Director Michael Keon. "The chairman has given the green light to sending a second batch of athletes if money is available."

"He’s still not a 100 percent sure about funding the second batch of athletes. In the mean-time, we’re pinpointing the NSAs (National Sports Asso-ciations) and we’re pinpointing how many athletes each NSAs will send. And then on that basis, we will try and see if we can come up with the required money," ani Keon.

(Russell Cadayona)
