Ipinabatid ni Integrated Cycling Federation of the Philippines (Phil-Cycling) secretary-general Mar Mendoza na nasa kainitan na ng pagsasanay ang kanilang mga siklista na pinamamahalaan ni National head coach Jomel Lorenzo.
"We are targeting eight of 12 gold medals at stake sa 2005 Philippine SEA Games," wika ni Mendoza. "We have a higher confidence level and we are confident that we will get eight gold medals."
"Iyong preparation nila is as scheduled and as programmed na naga-gawa nila nang tuluy-tuloy, I think our riders will be picking up exactly one month before the competition," sabi ni Mendoza.
"Siyempre, we have to find potential national team members para naman may transition of talents na mangyari," pagtatapos ni Mendoza.
