"My team is very strong. We are confident of winning against the Philippines," wika ni Chinese Taipei coach Chang Mu San, na siya ng gumiya sa koponan simula pa noong 2001.

"Chinese Taipei is the strongest team competing in this qualifying tourna-ment. We lost the match but we put up a good fight. We never gave up until the end," ani naman ni Philippine head coach Sergio Isada Jr. Nanalo ang Filipinos laban sa Macau,25-13, 25-17, 25-19, noong nakaraang Miyerkules.
