Dayrit, Buhain kuntento sa performance ng RP team

Bagamat walang maiuuwing ang medalya ang 16-man RP team mula sa 2004 Athens Olympic Games, masaya sina Philippine Olympic Committee President Celso Dayrit at Philippine Sports Commission Chairman Eric Buhain sa performance ng mga atleta.

"We did not win medals we thought our athletes deserved but their remarkable showing nevertheless endeared them to the hearts of our countrymen who admired their big fighting hearts," ani Dayrit.

"All the 16-Filipino athletes gave their best but the breaks simply went against them particularly in taekwondo," sabi naman ni Buhain.

Binati nina Buhain at Dayrit ang mga atleta sa kanilang mahusay na performance partikular na sina archer Jasmin Figueroa at Mary Antoinette Rivero.
