Cojuangco, Dalupan paparangalan sa SCOOP Awards

Kikilalanin ng Sports Communicators Organization of the Philippines (SCOOP) ang mga accomplishments, leadership at suporta sa Philippine sport ng ibat ibang indibidwal sa Annual Awards Night sa darating na Biyernes sa Pantalan Pilipino Specialty Restaurant sa Luneta.
Nangunguna sa mga awardees ng kategoryang ito sina dating Ambassador Eduardo Cojuangco Jr., ang San Miguel patriarch, at legendary basketball guru Virgilio Baby Dalupan na bibigyan ng Gawad Habang Buhay Lifetime Achievement Awards.
Si Cojuangco ay paparangalan dahil sa siya ang pinakamatagal nang benefactor at walang sawang tumutulong sa pag-unlad ng horse racing at cockfighting industries, basketball at equestrian.
Si Dalupan naman ang winningest coach na may kabuuang 51 championships mula sa lahat ng antas ng kompetisyon mula sa amateur hanggang sa professional.
Bibigyan naman ng Gawad Liderato para sa sportsleadership sina Philippine Bowling Congress president Steve Hontiveros, ang unang Filipino na nahalal sa International Bowling Federation bilang FIQ head, Sen. Robert Jaworski Sr. ang author ng Republic Act 9064 na kinilala bilang Sports Incentive Law at Philippine Sports Commission Chairman Eric Buhain na siyang nagpatupad ng naturang batas.
Bibigyan naman ng Gawad Liderato sina Philippine Olympic Committee president Celso Dayrit, Philippine Amateur Track and Field chief Go Teng Kok, dating World Cup at World FIQ champion Bong Coo, dating Asian Sprint Queen at ngayon ay Meycauayan, Bulacan councilor Lydia de Vega-Mercado, Manila Sports Council chair Ali Atienza, Airfreight 2100 chair Bert Lina, Nueva Ecija Governor at Little League Baseball-Philippines chair Tomas Joson III, Samsung Electronics Philippines president at CEO Seng Youl Eom at Herma Group of Companies Chair Hermie Esguerra.
Bibigyan naman ng Gawad Kabisig ang Photokina at Triple V Group of Companies na siyang kaagapay ng SCOOP.
