"Its definitely the signal of a new era of Philippine cycling, or putting it modestly, its putting cycling back to where it used to be," sabi ni Mar Mendoza, secretary general ng cycling national association na siya ring team manager ng Filipino riders na dumating kahapon bitbit ang gintong medalya ni Quinones mula sa cross country event.
"This campaign has allowed us to take a peek as to how our cyclists fare against our neighbors and what we should do with our own programs back home," ani ni Lina, naghanda ng isang welcome ceremony para sa cycling team.
