Philippine football team may Fil-foreigners na rin

Pitong dayuhan na may dugong Pinoy ang kinukuha ng Philippine Football Federation upang palakasin ang kanilang tsansang mapagwagian sa kauna-unahang pagkakataon ng medalya sa football event ng Southeast Asian Games na gaganapin sa Disyembre sa Vietnam.

Tatlo dito ay mula sa England, dalawa sa Germany at America at lahat ay nakalusot sa age limit na 23 anyos na itinakda ng SEAG organizing committee na nagpatalsik sa isang pang foreign-base goal scorer na si Alfred Gonzales sa national squad dahil 25 years old na siya sa Disyembre.

Kinumpirma ni PFF president Rene Adad ang pagkuha ng mga dayuhan at idinagdag niyang pinayagan na ito umano ng Philippine Olympic Committee.

Nagsasanay na ngayon sa Philippine team sina Andy at Sascha Prochnow ng Germany, Michael Napolito at Chris Greatwich mula sa England.

Ayon pa kay PFF technical committee chairman Joaquin Preysler, ang nanay ni Prochnow ay taga-Catanduanes.

Ang iba pa ay sina Robert Dale Watwood at Robert Struebeck ng US at Robert Hollands ng England.
