Cuban boxing trainer darating sa bansa

Dadalhin ng Amateur Boxing Association of the Philippines (ABAP), sa ilalim ng International Olympic Committee’s solidarity courses ang Manila world-renowned Cuban trainer na si Dr. Alcides Sagarra Caron para sa isang linggong seminar sa coaching at training.

Kinukunsiderang backbone ng Cuban boxing dynasty, si Sagarra ang nagtatag ng Cuban School of Boxing at pangulo ng Cuban National Technical Committee ay magbabahagi sa mga local coaches ng kanyang kaalaman na tumulong sa paghulma ng mga world amateur boxing champions sa katauhan nina Teofilo Seevenson, Felix Savon, Roberto Balado, Joel Casamayor, Angel Espinosa, Rolando Garbey, Juan Carlos Gomez at Maikkro Romero.

"This seminar will not only enhance the know-how of local coaches but will also provide them with the staples of Cuban boxing success-how to instill discipline on the boxers and how to condition them," paha-yag ni ABAP president and Federation of Asian Amateur Boxing secretary-general Manny T. Lopez.

Ayon pa kay Lopez, ang nasabing seminar na gaganapin sa isang five-star hotel simula sa Linggo ay bukas para sa lahat ng ABAP-accredited coaches,

Idinagdag pa ng ABAP president na ang seminar na ito ay bukas rin para sa unang 50 magpapatala at ang interesadong partido na ibig lumahok ay maaaring makipag-ugnayan sa ABAP sa tels. 5223437/838-8977.
