RP boxers babawi sa Busan Asian Games

Pinaghandaan ng husto ng National boxing team ang nalalapit na Asian Games sa Busan South Korea sa darating na Setyembre upang makabawi sa kanilang mahinang performance sa nakaraang Bangkok Asiad at Southeast Asian Games sa Kuala, Lumpur Malaysia noong nakaraang taon.
"After our poor performance in the SEA Games, we went back to work," pahayag ni Amateur Boxing Association of the Philippines president Manny Lopez na panauhin sa PSA Forum na lingguhang ginaganap sa Holiday Inn hotel.
Ayon kay Lopez, kanilang isinailalim sa masusing pagsasanay ang walong boxers na kinabibilangan nina light flyweight Harry Tanamor, flyweight Violito Payla, bantamweight Ferdie Gamo, middleweight Maraon Goles, featherweight Roel Laguna, light welterweight Romeo Brin, light middleweight Christopher Camat at Anthony Igusquiza.
Siyam na world class international competitions sa Greece, Lithuania, Poland, Cuba, Spain, North Korea, Malaysia, Thailand at Finland--ang sinalihan ng mga boxers para sa kanilang pagsasanay.
