"Gov. Sering would want to see this, all sports leaders gather together for the good of sports," ani Go. "I admit having some differences with Mr. Dayrit but for the sake of our beloved teacher (Sering), I would join hands with him in paying tribute to the man."
"I am setting aside my differences with Mr. Dayrit when we honor Gov. Sering. The event, I believe, is too big and important for my self to stage and should be a common effort by both the POC, PSC and all the national sports association," ani Go na nakakuha ng P3 milyon para sa pagdaraos ng 1st Sering Cup.
"The Vietnamese have said they are willing to accommodate boxing and other sports they initially wanted after most if not all of the SEA Games countried lobbied for their inclusion," ani Dayrit.
