Sinupil naman ni Marie Ann Dimakiling ng Davao City si NCR Karen Bacordo upang mapanatili ang liderato sa girls under 12 division ng chessfest na ito na suportado ng Philippine Chess Society sa pakiki-pagtulungan ng National Chess Federation of the Philippines, Active Chess Center of Asia, Inc., Pilipinas Shell at Siyudad ng Mandaluyong.

Ang mga iba pang nanalo sa round 2 ay sina Evangeline Alcantara ng Bicol (U-14), Angeles City bet Jelly Joy Valdez at Kimberly Jane Cunanan (U-10), Carina Espallardo (U-10), Andrea Manuel (U-10) at Christy Bernales (U-10).
