Breakaway group ng BAP, nakahandang kilalanin ng ABC ?

-
Sinabi ni Arsenio ‘Tiny’ Literal, ang pangulo ng breakaway group ng Basketball Association of the Philippines na makukuha nito ang pagkilala ng Asian Basketball Confederation bilang lehitimong BAP.

"In less than two days, this I can assure, we will get the ABC sanction. We are in touch regularly with ABC president Carl Cheng Minky and he has told us that he is 100% behind our group," ani Literal sa PSA Forum na lingguhang ginaganap sa Holiday Inn Manila.

"The ABC has 40 member countries and its president cannot act unilaterally on the matter," ani Tagle na nasa Forum din bilang observer. "Jalasco has the recognition of the Philippine Olympics Committee. The ABC cannot jump over the head of the POC.

"We have ousted Jalasco twice already," wika naman ni Literal. "The board has spoken. Jalasco is out, I am the new BAP president. The POC must recognize that," ani Literal.
