Ortaliz, hinirang na MOA sa Milo Little Olympics

Nahirang si Honey Joy Ortaliz ng Ramon Magsaysay HS-Cubao bilang Athletics Most Outstanding Athlete (MOA) sa Secondary Division matapos na magbulsa ng limang gintong medalya sa Rizal Memorial Track Oval.

Nanguna si Ortaliz sa 100m, 200m at 400m runs at binanderahan din niya ang kanyang koponan sa pagkuha ng ginto sa 400x100m at 4x400m relays.

Sa kabila nito, nananatiling hawak ng defending champion Sisters of Mary School (SOM) na siyang nagdomina sa field events sa paghataw ng 12 ginto, 6 silvers at 6 bronze ang overall standings sa secondary le-vel.

Patuloy ang pananalasa ng Sta. Mesa based SOM athletes at nananatiling nasa kontensiyon para makopo ang kanilang ikasiyam na sunod na team title simula noong 1992 at ang P40,000 halaga ng sports equipment.

Sa Elementary Division, bumandera si Antonio Mendenilla sa 100m, 400m, 800m at 8x50m relay upang mapasa kamay ang MOA honors.
