WATCH: Breaking her hiatus, Anne Curtis surprises at final campaign event

Despite being on a long hiatus from showbiz and her massively popular variety show "It's Showtime," Anne Curtis made a surprise appearance at the final campaign event of Vice President Leni Robredo on Saturday night.

"What's up, madlang people!" Curtis said, greeting the crowd with the signature line of the show she used to headline with Vice Ganda. "Ang tagal-tagal ko nang hindi sinabi 'yun but I'm here tonight."

Anne, who was set to end her hiatus with a concert in June, has been relatively outspoken about her support for Robredo's campaign on social media but had not officially been part of the campaign prior to the miting de avance in Makati City.
