KFC pushes the fight vs hunger

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines -Hunger, it has been found, impacts the academic performance and retention of young students in the Philippines. Good thing that combating hunger and undernutrition is well within our hands through the Add Hope project – a fund-raising initiative by World Food Programme (WFP) and KFC Philippines.

Since school feeding programs have the benefit of increasing school attendance and helping students boost their academic performance, KFC Philippines and WFP invite everyone to join them in rebuilding the lives of those in conflict-affected communities through WFP’s school-feeding program in various public elementary schools. The partnership has fed 100,000 children since 2007.
