Acer receives 5th RD Gold award

MANILA, Philippines - Acer recently won its fifth consecutive Gold award at the Reader’s Digest Trusted Brand 2014 Awards- Philippines in the Personal Computer/Desktop/Notebook/Tablet category.

Now in its 16th year, the Readers’ Digest Asia’s Trusted Brands survey is considered one of the premier consumer-based, international measures of brand preference. It is carried out by leading global market research company Ipsos in five key Asian markets – Hong Kong, Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore and the Philippines. The results are based on direct feedback from consumers via print and online questionnaires as well as telephone and face-to-face surveys.

Those who topped the survey, awarded with either a Gold or Platinum award, come from various industries including food and beverage, financial services, automotive, consumer electronics, health and personal care, household products, education, transport, travel and telecommunications, and were chosen based on the six attributes of trustworthiness and credibility, quality, value, understanding of customer needs, innovation and corporate social responsibility.
