MANILA, Philippines - AY Foundation (AYF), the philanthropic arm of the Yuchengco Group of Companies, together with the Junior Chamber International (JCI)-Manila, formally opens this year’s search for exceptional individuals who have shown dedication and selfless service to the poor and the underprivileged in the country. The Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Awards is a joint annual award search project of AYF and the JCI-Manila with the purpose of recognizing special individuals who should have at least 25 years of extensive humanitarian experience behind them. Last year’s awardee was Raymond Cagape, whose passion lies in providing health-care services in remote areas in Mindanao for more than 25 years.
