The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Megaworld solidified its partnership with WWF-Philippines to lead the Philippines’ biggest power switch-off for Earth Hour last Saturday, 8:30 p.m. at the Eastwood Open Park in Eastwood City. Residential condominiums, office towers, malls and commercial buildings actively took part in the one-hour switchoff to show solidarity with the rest of the world to fight climate change. Earth Hour is a global campaign spearheaded by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) that uses the simple act of turning off lights for 60 minutes to deliver a powerful message on the need for decisive climate change solutions. Present at the partnership signing were (from left) Donna Vicedo-Racho, VP of sales and marketing for Prime Properties Investment Group, Megaworld; Jericho Go, FVP for business development and leasing, Megaworld; Kevin Tan, FVP and head of commercial division, Megaworld; Jose Ma.
