Operation Smile comes home to Naga

MANILA, Philippines - Operation Smile (OS), a worldwide children’s charity organization dedicated to children and young adults afflicted with cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities, unveiled its 30th anniversary homecoming medical mission “The Journey Home” in its place of origin, Naga. The event was held recently at the Tent Center, Avenue Plaza Hotel, Naga City with donors pledging their support to OS by signing on the pledge wall. Among those who attended the event are Naga City mayor John Bongat, Camarines Sur Rep. Luis Villafuerte, Deputy Speaker Arnulfo Fuentebella, OS ambassadors and former cleft patients Chadleen Lacdo-o and Catherine Bandol, fellow smile ambassadors Junior Master Chef finalist Louise Mabolo, actress Jewel Mische and OS Philippines president Roberto Manzano.
