MANILA, Philippines - Globe Telecom recently held a special celebration in recognition of its implementing partners, which have supported the company’s nation-building initiatives through a range of projects and advocacies that tap its competencies in information and communication technology.
About 200 individuals representing various sectors of government, non-government organizations, academe, international development foundations attended the Globe CSR Partners’ Night at the Hotel InterContinental Manila.
The event, which also witnessed the launch of the Globe Bridging Communities SIM card, highlighted the over-arching theme of its CSR mission which is the “innovative and sustainable use of ICT for development” as well as the new approach in creating shared value with its partners. It showcased current CSR projects using ICT to enable and empower teachers, community leaders, entrepreneurs, environmental warriors and the youth.
