Makati Shangri-La voted one of the best hotels in the world

MANILA, Philippines –  Makati Shangri-La, Manila recently received international accolades as it garnered a place in the acclaimed Condé Nast Traveler magazine’s Gold List and Travel+Leisure magazine’s 500 World’s Best Hotels.

Condé Naste Traveler magazine, considered one of the most prestigious travel magazines in the world, has come out with its annual Gold List for 2011, and Makati Shangri-La is the only hotel in the Philippines to make it to such a prestigious category. The readers of Travel+Leisure magazine have made Makati Shangri-La the highest-ranked among the hotels in the Philippines in the magazine’s ninth yearly compendium of the top-ranked 500 hotels from the World’s Best Awards survey.
