CCP-MBC radio show now in CMMA Hall of Fame

MANILA, Philippines - The award-winning radio program Sugpuin ang Korupsyon was elevated to the Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA) Hall of Fame for being the Best Public Service Radio Program for the years 2006 through 2008. The award was recently given during the 32nd CMMA rites at the UST Medicine Auditorium of the University of Sto. Tomas in Manila.

Sugpuin ang Korupsyon (Anatomiya ng Korupsyon sa Radyo) is a production of the Cultural Center of the Philippines with the Manila Broadcasting Company. It features dramatized accounts of actual experiences on graft and corruption. Aired every Saturday at 2 p.m. over DZRH AM (666) radio, it was inspired by the groundbreaking play Anatomiya ng Korupsyon by Malou Jacob. Sugpuin Ang Korupsyon aims to inculcate the positive values, encourage critical thinking and provide a venue for the free exchange of ideas and information.
