Globe offers Libreng Tawag to Albay residents

MANILA, Philippines - Globe Telecoms is extending help to residents of Albay province affected by the eruption of Mayon volcano.

Globe Libreng Tawag stations were set up to enable residents to stay in touch with family and friends during these difficult times. Globe Libreng Tawag stations are located at the evacuation centers in Bagumbayan Central School, Brgy. Buyuan in Legaspi City and in Anislag, Brgy. Banadero in Daraga, Albay.

Globe provided the Libreng Tawag stations through its disaster preparedness, response, and rehabilitation program called Globe Bangon Pinoy. Launched in October following the onslaught of typhoons “Ondoy,” “Pepeng” and “Santi,” Globe Bangon Pinoy helps Filipinos affected by calamities to rebuild their lives.

Globe Libreng Tawag stations offer a free 3-minute international call per person and a free 5-minute local call per person.
