Israeli experts help typhoon victims

MANILA, Philippines - In addition to the medicine donation of the State of Israel, an organization called Israel Forum for International Humanitarian Aid (IsraAID) sent a team of medical experts to help families affected by ‘Ondoy’ and ‘Pepeng.’ The six Israeli volunteer doctor, nurses and paramedics will be in the country for two weeks. To date, they have given free medical assistance to victims in the Laguna area in coordination with Operation Blessing, a Filipino Christian organization. They are set to visit affected communities within Metro Manila and Northern Luzon.
