MANILA, Philippines — Nation’s leading fast-food chain Jollibee recently announced on social media its pledge of P5 million to the National Academy of Sports (NAS).

The announcement comes fresh off of the Philippine delegation’s recent success at the 2024 Paris Olympics, which saw gymnast Carlos Yulo bring home a historic haul of two gold medals, and boxers Nesthy Petecio and Aira Villegas getting bronzes to mark the Philippines’ best Olympics performance by far.

In honor of the Philippine team’s historic achievement, the brand is focusing its efforts in helping build the next generation of world-class Pinoy athletes. The P5 million donation will be used to support the student-athletes of NAS through additional infrastructure and equipment that will enhance their learning experience and training.

As a world-class brand that has always advocated for Pinoy Pride, Jollibee aims to continuously champion world-class Filipino talent and help them succeed at the global stage.
