Ayala Malls Cinemas make a big splash on opening week of 'The Little Mermaid'
MANILA, Philippines — From princess parties to enchanting installations featuring life under the sea—Ayala Malls Cinemas brought "The Little Mermaid" experience to movie lovers on a whole new level!
The opening night started with a splash as guests arrived in their most dashing princess attire. The opening week continued with more princess parties that ran simultaneously in all 23 Ayala Malls followed by the main event—"The Little Mermaid" movie screening.
It was a week of smiles and cheer as Ayala Malls continues to make amazing happen.

The premiere of "The Little Mermaid" at Ayala Malls Cinemas was attended by many families and friends from the media. Among them were Sofia Andres and Daniel Miranda with their daughter, Zoe; Tricia Centenera with Arabella and Zuri; as well as Sam and Paolo Valencianowith their mini-me, Leia.
Others arrived with friends, siblings and parents such as Janeena and Sally Chan; Kyle and Kerry Tinga; Kourtney, Noah and Dani Camcam; and more!
Guests were transported to an underwater adventure like no other at the Sea Princess Magical Ball, together with a block screening of "The Little Mermaid." Prior to the screening, moviegoers and guests explored the world of Atlantis at the cinema lobby. There, they were able to snap underwater pictures in their best mermaid poses, paint their own seashells and enjoy many more fun treats and delicious delights like popcorn and cupcakes.
On this day, both kids and adults were encouraged to come in their most magical princess outfits. The “best-dressed princesses” were awarded with a special gift from Pandora.
Adding to the magic, Pandora discounts were given to moviegoers who bought tickets to watch "The Little Mermaid" within the opening week.
A weekend under the sea adventure with the family
The opening week of "The Little Mermaid" at Ayala MallsCinemas continued with more excitement across all 23 malls.
Mallgoers who purchased movie tickets were able to take part in a two-day “Underwater Treasure Trove” experience. It featured a variety of activities, keeping little ones entertained while waiting for the movie to start, before entering the cinema.
Ayala Malls also hosted the Princess Sea Adventure Party during the opening weekend. On top of the movie screening, guests were able to participate in fun games like “Bring Me,” a karaoke sing-along, and other all-time favorites. What’s more, the best-dressed princesses across all princess parties at Ayala Malls won a special gift from Pandora: a Disney x Pandora bracelet and charm—adding to the magic of their "The Little Mermaid" movie experience.
Memorable moments with the family
Watching movies at cinemas has always been a great parent-child and family bonding activity that cuts across generations. However, the pandemic deprived many families of this bonding experience.
