Puregold’s Aling Puring app turns sari-sari stores to e-negosyo one-stop shops

MANILA, Philippines — With the launch of the Aling Puring app, Puregold has further solidified its support to owners of sari-sari stores and other small businesses.

“Sari-sari store and small business owners form the backbone of Puregold’s business. The Aling Puring app is not just for easy ordering and replenishment of stocks or enjoying special deals and discounts. It also gives Tindahan Ni Aling Puring members e-commerce opportunities with products such as mobile load, bills payment and cash-in for digital wallets.

The app is also connected to the Puregold Mobile application, which was launched in January 2020 just before the pandemic. It was launched during the Tindahan Ni Aling Puring Negosyo Convention 2022, which returned after a two-year hiatus because of the pandemic.

During the event, President Rodrigo Duterte lauded Puregold's efforts to assist SMEs.

After two years of the pandemic, Puregold is the first retailer to stage and execute a grand scale on-ground event. This is a bold and daring move of the organization to showcase its unrelenting support to sari-sari store owners.

Puregold’s Negosyo Convention 2022 was a three-day event attended by nearly 30,000 people and supported by 108 partner suppliers.
