MANILA, Philippines — Dining in at restaurants, especially on Valentine’s Day, will always be an irresistible experience. Looking to give couples a safer way to celebrate the love season, Megaworld Lifestyle Malls has redesigned and introduced more alfresco spaces that do not only provide a more romantic ambiance but also a safe dining environment.

Megaworld Lifestyle Malls has converted and redesigned its open spaces in its various lifestyle malls and allowed its partner restaurants to extend their outdoor seating to accommodate more alfresco diners.

Diners can look forward to enjoying more fresh air and a unique dining experience at their favorite restaurants without having to worry about their safety as alfresco dining offers better physical distancing, air quality and ventilation. Reinforced safety and intensive sanitation protocols are also in place including the strict observance of social distancing among diners.

Here’s a quick rundown on the new alfresco spaces couples can go to to celebrate their romance on Valentine’s Day.

1. Uptown Bonifacio

Megaworld Lifestyle Malls’ flagship lifestyle establishment, Uptown Bonifacio, has opened more areas for alfresco dining. Couples can easily make their way to the alfresco spaces at The Deck, which is conveniently situated at the fourth level of the mall. Just across the street along 9th Ave., Uptown Parade boasts of an abundance of restaurants, with rows of various flavors and cuisine. Customers can sit back and enjoy the relaxed ambiance and scenery while filling their stomachs with good food. Plus, the open space is perfect for well-distanced gatherings.

2. Southwoods Mall

With its tropical-inspired design, this lifestyle destination in the South boasts of open spaces with lots of greeneries that help provide fresh air and a feast for the eye. Southwoods Mall’s event area is now replete with dining spaces and with the food establishments just a stone’s throw away, diners can just easily order and enjoy their food the alfresco way.

3. Twin Lakes

With a picturesque view of the majestic Taal Lake and a cool climate to match, Twin Lakes is the perfect go-to for a quick and safe dining getaway. 6. Venice Grand Canal

8. Newport City

9. McKinley West
