MANILA, Philippines - Robinsons Supermarket, the supermarket chain that advocates wellness and healthy living, celebrated nutrition month with its Guide to Good Food, a collection of recipes for the busy homemaker.
“The Guide to Good Food offers cooking tips, food choices and recipes easily prepared at home to enable families to enjoy home cooked meals and help them minimize fastfood takeouts,” says Jody Gadia, general manager of Robinsons Supermarket.
The Guide to Good Food is the first volume of what the chain hopes to be a yearly offering to loyal shoppers in celebration of Nutrition Month. A single-receipt purchase during the promo period at Robinsons Supermarket entitled shoppers to a copy of the book. The promotion was part of Robinsons Supermarket’s annual Wellness and Nutrition Festival where healthy products are highlighted or put on sale.
With these activities, Robinsons Supermarket hopes to promote a healthy lifestyle to shoppers. The supermarket chain works with its trade partners to give its customers more healthy choices and has partnered with like-minded institutions such as the Food Nutrition Research Institute (FNRI) of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) in this offering.
