MANILA, Philippines - Finally, Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) got into the social awareness bandwagon this month as no less than Isuzu Motors Limited (IML) Chairman Yoshinori Ida visited the country to personally welcome the fourth batch automotive trainees comprised of 18 young men and women at its Isuzu-TESDA Auto Mechanic Training Center located in the outskirts of Tacloban City, Leyte. Since it opened in 2008, the Isuzu-TESDA auto mechanic training center has welcomed 69 scholars from the country’s poorest areas. Ida has made it a habit to visit the country each time a new batch of trainees is welcomed to the training center.
