PHLPost partners with DTI to aid MSMEs

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) furthers its commitment to aid micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) as it engages into a partnership with the Department of Trade and Industries (DTI) to promote domestically manufactured products.

 In the partnership, PHLPost will offer an end-to-end solution that allows over 1,000 products of DTI’s One Town, One Product (OTOP) – Tindahang Pinoy merchants to instantly set-up and manage their products online. PHLPost will also deliver the commodity at the customer’s door for a corresponding

 “With this partnership, we are not just highlighting the various services of PHLPost and the OTOP Tindahang Pinoy project of DTI, we are also giving a chance to a common Juan Dela Cruz to change his life, to aspire for a better future through the broader scope of probable customers which can access the eCommerce online site,” PHLPost postmaster general Josie Dela Cruz emphasized.

In this setting, PHLPost will be able to participate and converge with the E-Commerce of other postal administrations. This will also allow domestic products to be promoted and sold outside the country.

 The partnership is the second phase of PHLPost’s four-part E-Commerce project which is now operational through the Pinoy eMall portal via www.phlpost.gov.ph/pinoyemall.
