Metrobank gives more than P10 million in grants

MANILA, Philippines - Metrobank recently celebrated its 51st anniversary by awarding a total of more than P10 million to 42 development organizations.

The Grants Program primarily supports projects in line with the Foundation’s main thrusts in education, visual arts, and healthcare.

Organizations such as Rags2Riches Inc., ICanServe Foundation, and Autism Society Philippines, received grants in support of their programs in education, livelihood, healthcare, and arts appreciation.

The Philippine Children’s Medical Center received a grant for the improvement of its Milk Bank through the provision of a Laminar Flow Hood, a high-end sterilization equipment.

Metrobank will also provide support to the Office of the Ombudsman for its Integrity Caravan, a series of knowledge-sharing activities on various good governance, integrity, and anti-corruption programs.
