1st CREO Marketing Solutions Challenge

MANILA, Philippines - College students from top universities went head to head for the honor of winning the first ever Creo Marketing Solutions Challenge, a joint project of the Junior Achievement of the Philippines, Inc. and multi-awarded marketing communications agency DDB Philippines.

The first CREO Marketing Solutions Challenge aims to gather fresh ideas for the awareness-building and promotion of telecommunications and computer programming company Technominds-EASCO’s social entrepreneurship project Siglo, a project aimed at empowering rural dwellers, especially farmers and their families, with a stable livelihood option in the form of technology-based programs.

Each team was tasked to present an integrated marketing communication plan which addressed the objectives, the challenges, the target market and the set budget of the campaign. Presentations were evaluated based on originality, ownability, equity-building, creativity, and efficiency and effectiveness of the plan.

The teams from PUP Manila and UP Diliman bagged the grand prize while AUF placed first runner-up. Winners received a trophy and cash prizes.
