ARC Youth Leaders commit to environmental stewardship

-

Manila, Philippines -  The first ARC Young Leaders Camp was held recently in Antipolo City’s sprawling First Pacific Leadership Academy, hosted by Asiawide Refreshments Corporation (ARC) and Royal Crown Cola International, in partnership with the National Youth Commission.

The summit, composed of first and second year college students, tackled global and local perspectives on the state of the environment, and how young citizens can act as prime movers to protect the planet.

Camp exercises challenged the students to give shape, color, and voice to their ideas through creative presentations; enabled them to explore complex issues through role-play; and encouraged the students to become part of the solution.

The activities do not end with the 3-day camp. The program Hakbang Kabataan, which signifies taking a step, small or big, offered the first batch of ARC Young Leaders a platform to create a project proposal that will benefit their communities. The ARC Young Leaders Camp will continue to give wings to future leaders who will put the good of people and planet first.
