Smash debut

It was refreshing to see ladies decked out in high heels for a change. Taking heels to soaring heights (quite literally) was jewelry-now-shoe designer, Mark Tenchavez with his fashion show aptly called “The Shoe Must Go On“ at Vudu Luxx.

In the Shandar Premier 2011 Collection, Mark takes couture ideas and his love for experimentation to produce eclectic pieces that range from color blocked plum wedgies to gold pumps with a bedazzled bow. The cheeky Tessa Prieto-Valdes hosted the event in her Poison Ivy-esque ensemble and her very own Shandar pair.

Rallying up Cebu’s colorful personalities to walk the runway in gorgeous, sky-high heels, turned skeptics to instant fans. 

The wait is over as Abreeza, Ayala’s first mall in Mindanao finally opened its doors to the public. Much anticipated and much talked about, Abreeza brings a flurry of newfound activity to Region Six.

With its presence in Davao, Abreeza brings in, along with the excitement, new brands and offerings. No less than Fernando, Jaime Augusto and Lizzie Zobel de Ayala with Don Antonio Floirendo Sr. and wife Doña Nenita joined Mayor Sara and Vice Mayor Rody Duterte in welcoming the newest addition to Davao’s attractions.
