Flying Colors

When the invitation says wear colors inspired by a Mark Rothko painting, you know the party is going to be strictly fab. For her birthday, June Alegrado decided to throw some fun down Cebu’s way. Picture high-fashion fiesta. Riotous colors and festive decorations  injected life into the beach front of the family-owned Maribago Bluewaters Resort last June 4, 2011. Guests enjoyed rows and rows of seafood, and downed it with glasses and glasses of white wine and champagne. Close girlfriends performed “On The Dancefloor” for the  birthday girl who was radiant in a tangerine number by Oj Hofer.

On the other side of town in the Nivel hills, Marco Polo Plaza turned five. How time flies when you’re having fun! The five-star hotel marks five years of good service and of course great food. The night’s celebration was kicked off  with the unveiling of the dinner buffet that involved all their chefs  creating a fiery food exhibition followed by awarding ceremonies to thank and give mention to top airlines and media partners such as Zee Lifestyle Magazine.
