Sto. Niño of Basey art contest winners

MANILA, Philippines –  In celebration of the 107th Feast Day Celebration of Señor Sto. Niño in Basey, Samar, an art contest with the theme “A Day with Sto. Niño” was held recently at the St. Michael the Archangel Parish Church, with 28 Grades IV to VI pupils of Basey I and II Central Elementary Schools, and MSH Sisters Academy of Basey Samar. The contest winners were Claro Cajefe, Jr., grand prize (3rd row right); Jay-ar Batica, 2nd prize (3rd row 4th from left); Charlo Adona, 3rd prize (front row 2nd from left); Kristelle May Arteche (2nd row 3rd from right) and John Loyd Moreto (4th row 5th from right), 3rd prize winners. The activity was spearheaded by hermanos Theo Prudencio Juhani, Leo Angelo, Joseph Mari Zeta Capeding in cooperation with the teaching staff of the schools. The winning entries will be included in the 107th Feast Day Celebration of Señor Sto. Niño souvenir program.
