New FINEX office inaugurated

MANILA, Philippines - The Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX) recently inaugurated its new office, FINEX-Roberto F. de Ocampo Center for Financial Excellence, located at the 19/F 139 Corporate Center, Valero St., Salcedo Village, Makati City.

The office is named in honor of Dr. Roberto F. de Ocampo who, as Secretary of Finance under Pres. Fidel Ramos, was widely recognized as the principal architect of the resurgence of the Philippine economy in the mid-nineties and was recognized globally as the first ASEAN finance minister to be named Finance Minister of the Year. De Ocampo himself gave opening remarks at the inauguration, with guests, FINEX directors, and staff in attendance, led by FINEX president Roberto Borromeo.
