Half a moon ago, yet another fiery partnership was forged when Fila unveiled the ultimate footwear for the fast, furious, F1 fanatic–the Michael Schumacher Replica Race Shoes in a night of red-hot fun, fashion and fanfare.
Turning the cozy chic sidewalks of the Rockwell Powerplant mall into the asphalt terrain of the F1 tracks, Isportlife Inc.’s Butch and Cris Albert tied up with partyphile Tim Yap to produce one of the year’s hottest fashion events. In the spotlight were Schumacher’s favorite accessories: Fila Ferrari timepieces, racy naturellement, fire-proof Fila F1 Schumacher race shoes.
The bash attracted the Metro’s speed disciples, palanggas, from F3’s toast JP Tuason to PBA’s biggest tosses Marlou Aquino and Miguel Noble, Powerboy Greg Martin, former Myx VJ Bianca Araneta. Mediterranean bar and resto Mati was the pit stop for the night. The party sped off with a bartending exhibition by Ralph’s Wines & Spirits, turning flammable Stolichnaya flavored vodkas into the cocktails of choice for the scorching night. Add to that the music of DJ Nicky Jurado and the party just couldn’t stop lapping, until it reached the highlight, a fuel-induced fashion show styled by underground designer Ronald Pasion. A speeding Ferrari provided the curtain drop for the adrenalin-pumping wears and wares of the evening.
Needless to say, the power-packed party stayed up til the checkered flag was dropped to cap the flaming Fila Ferrari fun fair.
